If you live in the same household and share the same router, your IP address is the same and you will be booted.  :BangHead:

If you doubt that, go visit http://WhatIsMyIp.com on each machine and see what it tells you.

The best advice would be to contact support and just be honest. They are not looking for ways to kick people out, the more they keep the more they earn too. It's all about pleasing the advertisers.

From what I can tell you all have to have a different Ip address I am not sure about being in the same household but that is a very good question. But you can diffently refer family.  Good luck and let us know how it goes.

The reason they have the IP rule is to prevent more than one account per household, or member.  If your family members lived in different household,s then it would be alright to refer them.

@NCboy98

You are mistaken, listen to Old BUddy.  Even thou you have two computer you still share the same IP, if you have only one router.  The instructions state clearly that only one member from a family unless they have different IPS or live in another house.

Yeah. It would be not acceptable if 3 were working off same computer with same IP address cause it would look as it a person had multiple accounts, and so many people will try anything to see if they can get away with it.  But that IP address will let them know that someone in the household could be doing that.  I guess if you have 10 people in a household and they all have computers and different IP's it would be ok.

I think that you can only have one account per house.  You can refer family members that live in different houses.
