I Hate When People Dont Believe In GPT sites.
« on: September 25, 2011, 10:19:08 pm »
I hate when people don't believe that you can actually make money from sites like this.  I show them proof and they still don't believe thats why it has been really hard for me to get referrals because they don't believe that you can make some extra cash on sites like fusioncash.  How can i make them understand that this site is not a scam.

sounds a lot like you are trying to convince them.  Try instead to just acknowledge in conversation with them, like talking to a friend during a party, that you enjoy earning extra money on the internet in your spare time.  Be in the conversation with friends, not trying to manipulate them to click on your link.  People like to check out things that sound interesting to them.  Be interesting...  but not pushy.

Showing the fruits of your labor, so to speak, should work.

For example:
"Like, hey, look what I bought! Got it basically free"
- "Oh, how'd you do that?"
"This internet site I know! Spent like five minutes a day on it, got cash, no joke!"
- "Wow! I thought they were all scams!"
"Well, a lot probably are. But this one works - want me to show you it?"

Everyone like extra change and work at home opportunities, after all, so you really shouldn't have that much trouble there.

If you mean online though, well. That is harder, because it's easy to fake things. You have to do more convincing that it's legit there, since they can't touch the proof with their own hands.
I'd suggest emphasizing 'No Risk' and 'Easy How-Tos'. You'll probably still get a lot that join and never work enough to cash out, but that's still a $2 referral, and who knows, they might return someday. ::)

I had a hard time believing also with these type of sites. What happened I guess is that these GPT sites get thrown in with PTC sites and people automatically think they are scams. And I am sure there are many scams out there. Just keep on plugging along. Maybe you should start a free blog and explain how the site works and then post payment proofs. That might help you get some referrals.

Thanks for your answers everybody but I still don't know why they don't believe I just tell them about the site I dont tell them to join because I want them to be interested in this site.  I show them proof but that doesn't work.  People don't pay that much attention to small check they just like big checks.

Oh I believe in them, just takes awhile to get anywhere sometimes.  I don't have much time to commit to doing a lot of the surveys to find out that I haven't been approved for it.  Very frustrating!  So I stick to the forum and and to the daily mail, and stuff like that.

Show them your check and take them with you when you cash it, shovel the money on their face and say...what you think of that?

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink.  Don't waste your time on the people that don't listen, it's their loss.  Instead find the hungry fish that want to get fed and feed them.

Just keep it simple and let them know that in order to make money from sites such as Fusion Cash you have to put in the work just like any other job or task that evokes money after a deed is completed.  Nothing in this world comes easy and you will usually get out of something what you put in.  If you've shown them proof and they still don't believe you then you just need to move to the next person and continue to make money responding to offers and so forth.  You should also do what another individual said which is to not try and convince them but keep it conversational and simple.  This isn't for everyone, unfortunately.

The best way to get ref's is not to try to get ref's... What I mean is that if you provide a site that shows how simple working the site is, what kind of money to expect, and payment proofs, people that are interested in the site will sign up. But if you purposefully go up to people trying to push them to sign up, they tend to balk. Don't go after potential ref's; let them come to you. If you appear genuine and helpful without being pushy, people will tend to believe you more. Also, acknowledge both the pros and cons of a site. Instead of saying "Wow! I just banked over $30 this month from FC! It's an awesome site! Wanna join?" go for something along the line of "Phew! That $30 that I just cashed from FC sure took a while... I mean it isn't hard, it just takes several weeks to rack up enough money to cash out the account... But at 5 minutes a day for a little extra spending money, I guess I can't complain." Even though you are downplaying the site in the latter example, people are going to be more willing to believe you. People are much more hesitant about something that is too good to be true; so by being candid about a site, including showing all of the issues you have with it, people will realize it isn't "too good" and so any profit you later show them seems much more genuine.

I think the reason that some don't beleive is because there are so many out there testyfying to making huge money, and that's just not probable. The truth is, we can make a little money, with only a little amount of efffort...and right now, every dollar counts, including clipping coupons.  So if they don't want free money, that's their loss.
