2008 Obama a black man made history, this created a change in political view.
Are we ready for a female President? That is hormonal, emotional, and monthly moody?

Were these countries ready for women presidents?  Many countries have elected women presidents.  The US is very backwards and not progressive in a lot of areas.  Why can't the US have a woman president?

Has a qualified woman run who was better than her opponents?  Should we just vote for her because she is a woman?  Look what happened when we voted for this current clown because only because he is black.

Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, has managed to keep Germany's economy so strong that she is able to bail out the irresponsible PIGS countries (Portugal, Italy, Greece, Spain) who have dragged the European Union's economy into  near-ruin. If this is what a moody, hormonal female is capable of, I say, clone Angela and elect her President of the U.S.

Hahaha yeah! If my german friend is right though, she's extremely 'anti-gun' so we'd have to extract that part of her genetic makeup that makes her think that way.

That wouldn't be much different from obama... he is about as hormonal as any woman.  Most people just haven't figured out that his incompetency is directly connected to his agenda of suppressing his hormones.  No seriously, some female emotions, hormones, and mood swings might do this country some good.

I think that Hillary Clinton could beat Obama today. Why don't we ever mention that Obama is only half black? Does part black mean all black?

Sure, lets completely disregard their political philosophy and view on ideal and instead pay attention to what they look like, and preconceived notions about their behavior based on their gender. I don't care what my president looks like as long as I agree with them philosophically and agree with what their role should be in the white house. As long as they actually abide by the constitution and use powers that they where actually given instead of powers that seemingly came from no where.

I don't think it should matter man/woman or white/black/other. The people of this country should vote based on the candidate's views, policy ideas, and plans rather than demographic, age, etc. I bet half of the people who vote today do not know what they are actually voting for.

Until you address the corporate buying of politicians, it doesn't matter man/woman/black/white is in office. We're quickly becoming a country ran by corporations.

That is hormonal,emotional,and monthly moody?

Wow, that is incredibly sexist and stereotypical of you to say.  Especially being a woman yourself.

Not all women would be "handicapped" by the plights you speak of if they were in a position of power!  Geez.

Agreed and I will add this. Did you know that men also have hormones that get out of whack, can be just as (if not more) emotional than women, and also get moody more than once a month? Add to this the male propensity to be 'manly and aggressive' in order to keep the upper hand and maintain their pride. Hmmm, sounds to me like that is a very lame 'argument' against a female being in office..... :P

I would like to see an American who has the American people as the best interest at heart run for any and all offices.  The political parties have became too much of an influence on our democracy.  They are only after their own political agendas and what will fatten their wallets over what is the best welfare for the American People.
Have a wonderful day!
