Any one know how much average vet cost?

I have a cat that almost 3 weeks doesn't want eat... She's look sick, she lost a lot of weight. I want take her to the vet but worry about how much it will cost me... And to go to the vet, do we need make an appointment or just walk in is ok? Thanks before...

Call around and compare prices from your local vets.  If you can't afford it, take the cat to a shelter.  If it is sick and suffering it is your job to get it care.

I would guess, from what you have said, it's very possible the cat has feline leukemia. Since it also sounds like you have never bothered to even get the cat looked at, let alone immunized, it will cost you quite a bit of money no matter where you go.

I'm sorry, but I have a thing about people who take IN animals but cannot be 'bothered' to take care OF them. Just get the cat in somewhere and if you do not have the $$ to do that, then give the animal up or have it put down. That cat should not have to suffer more than it already has, period.

3 weeks old... or 3 weeks you've had it or for the last 3 weeks it hasn't wanted to eat?

Most vets accept walk ins, but feel free to call and ask general price and for an appointment.
Most will also work with you to do payment plans.
Bring the cat (and mom if it is really that young, even the whole litter for a checkup) in a box or carrier, not just in your arms.

Price really depends on where you live. We have dogs, not cats and live in a small town; checkups are around $25. Medicines are more expensive from the vet and depend on what is necessary, but range from $10 to $60 dollars. Maybe more, like I said, depends on what's wrong and if you need in patient or overnight care or surgery or whatever.

As already mentioned, if you can't afford it, take it to a shelter or rescue. They can help, might even have cheaper vets there.

There may also be programs in your area to help with vet bills (although most are for spaying/neutering and large bills like surgery/cancer - but just check around and ask). Try doing an online search (with your zip or state) and asking the vets/shelters/rescues around.

But I'd suggest doing that after getting a vet to look at your cat and find out what's wrong first. It could be something as relatively simple and cheap as worms, after all.

Thanks all. I've appointment with the vet tomorrow morning. The cat is 5 y/o. She lost of her appetite since 3 weeks ago. I try to give her other food but she wouldn't take. I got the cat 1.5 year ago. She's not shown any shympton of sickness except her tired eyes, no nose discharge, breathe normal, her eyes clean and still run around when she want but yes she lost weight. I hope nothing serious with her.

Good job, ciscoe. I am so glad you are taking her to see the vet and I hope it is a small/treatable problem. I apologize if I sounded harsh, but I take care of humans for a living and my compassion carries over to animals - obviously.
