 Has anybody got any amusing yet inexpensive treat ideas for stocking stuffers.

treats as in food / snacks or treats as in toys and fun stuff???
we always put lottery tickets in ours....even for the kids too young to buy them....we buy them...let them scratch them off...and if they have a winner we turn them in, then give them the money...kids love em...

I think it's always a good idea to stuff something healthy into Christmas stockings. Here's my idea, Party supply houses have these acetate bags they use for party favors and small items. You can make your own trail mix using different things like dried fruit, raisins, nuts and things like oatmeal cookies and sesame candies and have a healthy snack stocking. On each bag to close them you can use a small rubber band and cover the rubber band with a ribbon. If you want to put a traditional looking candy cane in the stocking use a sugarless one put a big bow on the outside of the stocking and there you have it. If you can use a see through stocking that will be great all of the colors of the dried fruit will show through.
