Can User ID# (displayed under account information) be used for referrals instead of username?

Neither. You want to use your referral link, which can be found in the FAQs. Expand all and click on Start referring friends now! under Referrals. You may also use the banners provided there. When your referral people click on those links, you'll get credited by FC for the referral. Hope that helps!  :peace:
