I totally agree.  This world is getting harder and harder to cope with and if were not for Jesus I would not have made it this far.  He is my friend and comforter and He will never leave me or forsake me

I completely disagree.  What about the many other societies that are not Christian?  What do they "hold on to."  Are you saying they can't cope?  Are their beliefs any less important?  Do they not have other coping mechanisms to get them through?  There's more than one way to skin a cat.  If your Jesus is something you need to get by great that's wonderful for you but don't speak for everybody.

If I didnt have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ to comfort,protect and give me strength when I needed it,  I am sure I would not be alive today.  I have gone through a lot of rough times and He has always taken care of me and the kids.

I have plenty to hold on to during rough times, my family, my husband ,and my friends. I dont need a story book character to help me get by,
I need myself ans those around me that I can touch and feel and be around. No make believe people will get me through.

If this is true then people are extremely weak willed.  I get strength from within myself and from my friends and family.   I get through life just fine like that.

i beleive in jesus, but he's not in my life much.  i get my strength from within myself, after all, he made us to make decisions and choices, it was his design to make us above all other creatures.

 I guess we all know to go to our Savior Jesus when tough times come.  For some reason, I guess because we all have a void in our heart that can only be filled by asking Him to fill it for us, we know who to call on when trouble comes, at least I hope we do.

I am noticing some people say that is not true that other people don't have Jesus and seem to do just fine, sure what you see on the outside they are replacing Jesus with something else. When we are born we are created with a void in our lives that can only be filled with our Father in Heaven. We were seperated from our Father by sin, since He is all Holy. So God sent His Son Jesus as a sacrifice so we could be forgiven, and have our Father to fill that void. Now those that choose to not accept Jesus try to fill that void with other things, a career, money, sex, power, drugs and alcohol. Some think they can earn enough money to create happiness but it always leaves them wanting something more, and they will never be able to fill that, never. Unless of course they accept Jesus into their lives, then they will find Peace. Love, Happiness, all they have now is a false sense of security, but it gets worse for those that don't have Jesus, we don't just go to sleep, or die, our soul moves on..and only through Jesus can we have an eternal life with  our Father. How can we go somewhere we do not believe? So I ask do you need Jesus or don't you. Do you think people will be happy when they die of this fleshly life, and don't have Him?
