I'm very thankful to have Jesus in my life!

It's unfortunate that not all of God's children have that relationship.

Yea- I'm just a person, not a child-grew up long ago, no relationship to mythical beings. Nothing unfortunate, except for your negative thoughts about everyone that does not believe like you do!

Wow! There are toooo many people that use religion as a crutch to have purpose or existence in this world. Just doesn't make sense to me. Saying that you would be lost without Jesus christ is kind of disturbing, and I will tell you why(which will indeed fall upon deaf ears, as you will not think outside of what you think you know)-NO SELF RELIANCE!!! Jesus has nothing to do with your instincts and your thoughts about how you survive in this world. YOU ultimately make any decision you want to to solve problems in your life. For me, Its not "what would jesus do"~ its "what would Darwin do"! or, What would I do??? Why? Charles Darwin ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY EXISTED IN THIS WORLD, and let me tell you-evolution is really cool, if you decide to evolve and learn truths for yourself, NOT for
Jesus!!!! I mean, what would trillions of people in this world do if the existence of  Jesus Christ was scientifically proven never to exist at all, I'm talking HARD EVIDENCE, undisputable evidence- TODAY??

Would your world come crashing down along with everything in it associated to religion??? Would trillions be lost to wander this earth with no purpose, or reason to live anymore? Or would trillions "wake up" and realize that maybe-just maybe all that they have learned about religion and Jesus was just a bedtime story, a tall tale passed down through generations, learned behavior from our parents and ancestors, and doesn't exist or have any real purpose for being there at all? Would droves of people just loose their minds and just quit???


I for one have a reason to exist on this planet.  I see it in my husband's eyes when he greets me at home at the end of a long day, and my child's face when she tells me she loves me. I I know I am not lost when I actually go and help my neighbors out, NOT because of the darn ten commandments, but because I have evolved to know that If I help someone, and they are genuinelly in need, they will help me in return someday, and that feels great. I know I have purpose when I make my parents smile and laugh at my silly-*bleep*-hyperactive personality, and they tell me that they really needed that laugh on any given day. I know I have purpose when my brother, who is diagnosed with HIV since 1994 calls me because he just needs me to comfort him.

Let me tell ya, If you believe all the "miracles" that jesus has "blessed" you with in your life, what is the point of Human to human interaction at all?!-you know, since you would be so lost without him??? What is the point of all the research into medicine, social interactions, familiy dynamics, ect. Won't Jesus just take care of it all for you-no worries?

Here are some examples:

1 - Mermaid aren't real, but some people have seen it, and they discovered Mermaid remains and capture them yet there's never been a fact about it how they live etc. I in fact saw one myself.

2 - Rainbows looks beatiful to the human eyes when far away but when you are close you only see lights and the sun in a different direction. Similar how you will define a image to pixel.

Science is just proving theory to a logical explanation. I in fact was sick to death, and had been in coma for 6 months. My case was worst and beside lying unconscious I was in deep pain. Can't explain further which will get emotional, but GOD exists.

The reality is, God doesn't want you. Just like when you go to college they don't need you there and you have to prove to yourself that you are there to learn. The same example apply on your spiritual form. The bibble wasn't written vaguely and Jesus was on Earth a long time ago.

If you are soo scientific you would know that people from generations tends to talk about events that happens in their lives, celebrates a popular culture, or honorate someone's famous years after years. 9/11, Micheal Jackson.... and these are the one that happen in this 2000.

Now would you believe that God never came, and people just make things up? Every country has a God that they believed that's all mighty?

Ask yourself these scientific questions: What makes them act that way? What has happened? If you want the truth you will have to search some religions to compare differences, or set your heart onto one and read the Bible which is the same in many.

How about this. In 2015, will someone dare to say that 9/11 never happens? Of course some people would because "people don't believe" not unless that tragedy happened to them then they go whining. It's the same as your proposition about comparing a doctor's note vs a spiritual service.

I don't need to hold onto anything to get through life. The simple act of living by itself is what I look forward too every single day. I can focus on living that life rather than focusing on a zombie thats his own dad freeing everyone from an angel that didn't quite click with a the said zombie's son that is himself his dad.

Everyone is made with a God-shaped hole in our minds. If we try to fill it up with anything else, we may think that we are satisfied, but we are not really. If those who are making comments that Jesus isn't real or needed could experience what Jesus will do for them in a real way, they would be wanting others to love Him too. Whatever you have been through, don't give up on Jesus. He loves you no matter what you are going through.

I love Jesus as my saviour. He died on the cross for my sins.... If you believe in Him , you will not perish but have eternal life.  So people should have Jesus Christ in their lives!!

I don't know what their lives would be like.  Thank God I have Jesus in my life, for I don't know what I would do if I did not have him in my life, I would be nothing, have nothing, I won't even exist.  Thank God he is in my life and I praise his holy name.

Falcon9, this example of yours does not include common sense and is way over-exaggerated.  Common sense, in that you know it's ridiculous to stand on that track with a train "bearing" down on you. It is not a relevant example at all.  Way over-exaggerated, in that if Jesus was being symbolized as the 'train,' there is no way He would "bear" down on anyone.  People make their own decisions.

Wow, these topics really upset me. While I am a Christian, I hate when people try to shove their personal views, religious or not, down other people's throats. Let them live their own life and make their own choices. Sure you can exposed them to the wonders of Jesus, but if they reject it, so be it and let them continue with their lives.
