I think it is a great idea to do kind deeds to help other folks and when you do them it plants a seed that may spread to others.  There is not enough kindness in this day and age and anything we can do to spur the growth of kindness is helpfull.  :peace:

I trully believe in paying it forward..Even if it's just a smile or letting a car in, maybe the person on the other end will do the same and little by little the world may become a better place.  You have to start somewhere, right?

i always get a little excited when someone
does something thoughtful or out of their way,
or just plain nice, especially a stranger!
i wish i weren't taken by surprise when it happens.
i wish it was a common thing...

I also do little deeds like holding the door for somone, and simply just saying thank you.  That also goes a long way.   It makes me believe that there are still kind people in the world.  When I was living in Kentucky, I fell in front of Wal-Mart and NOT one person offered to help me up. I sat there for over 8 minutes because I was in pain and could not help myself up.  Finally, a worker came outside and helped me up.  That said a lot to me and I would NEVER walk past someone (pregnant or not) if they were on the ground.  Unfortunately, I had my son 3 weeks early because of that fall and he ended up in the NICU for over a week.
I will even go as far as helping old people put groceries in their car and because of my kind deeds, my kids want to help people too now.  It starts at home!  :)

If only more people would look out for others in this world, it would be such a nicer place.  I try to do good deeds at every possible opportunity.  I much rather do them without anyone knowing that it was me.  I get such a good feeling inside when I've helped someone through a burden.   I was at McDonald's last night doing a mystery shop.  A young man approached the counter while I was waiting on my food.  I heard him ask how much a chicken sandwich cost and watched him sift through change to get enough to pay for his sandwich.  When I was handed my tray, I asked the young man if he would like to have my meal since I wasn't really hungry.  By the look on his face, you would have thought I had given him a ribeye steak dinner.   He was so appreciative.  It made me feel good insde knowing he enjoyed the meal more than I would have.  When I had more income coming in, I would regularly purchase perfect strangers' meals especially if they had children with them or were elderly.
Have a wonderful day!

Absolutely it pays to set kindness in motion.  Isn't it the Golden Rule to treat others the way you want to be treated?
It's a domino effect and can change the hearts of others without even knowing it.

I think we should always make people feel like they are important and do things to make them smile, they may be having a bad day and just by doing something little by holding the door, or saying Hi, might be the very thing that gets there mind off of the bad circumstance there facing and make them smile. Help others, you'll see, it will make you feel better. It is God's gift to give.

I have believed it Pay It Forward for years. It does not hurt to do a good deed and it does make me feel good when I see how people react from those little things. A smile, a pat on the back, a squeeze of the hand. A little affection goes a long ways. I have no problem letting a person cut in front of me whether it be in a grocery store or on the interstate.
