Do you have the money to go back to school?  How are you paying for that?

You may get extra $$ in student loans to cover books etc..  if you rent books from chegg its cheaper and you can use some of the money left over to help with the bills.  You can also sell your notes on some websites, and tutor for $$.  I was working and going to school full time until child care expenses got too overwhelming.  Hopefully I will be able to return to school when my lil ones start school.  I was going for Nursing too.  Good Luck!

There are a lot of schools that offer evening courses for working adults. You could get a job in a nursing home, they don't require much experience for care givers and you'd be working with nurses that could share with you.

Make sure you get training that is relevant to get you a job.  Work in a related field while attending school.  You can stilll earn some money and get unemployment also.  Don't take on debt you can't repay or will bury you in payments even after you get a job.

Good welders are always in demand... have you considered moving to a new city?
