Looking for site to sell books

Does anybody have any good suggestions.  I have a lot of books and wouldn't mind selling some of them.

I've always had luck with half.com.

I sell mine to used book stores.  Most of them have days when they have buyers on staff and will buy some of what you have.  Unfortunately, most places are very particular on what they will buy.  Hard to get rid of books on computers, popular fiction, cooking, and some other topics.  Good luck.

Ebay is a good site to sell your books as well.

I used to sell on half.com too.  It's part of ebay.  It's been a few years since I've sold any now.

I usually go to amazon.com and have sold some of my used books there in the past. It works.

I have a lot of books in my yard sale stuff and was thinking about putting some on Ebay. I haven't tried Half.come but I sold other stuff on Ebay.

I have to agree with those who said Amazon. Unfortunately, books these days deprecate faster than new cars driven off the lot. If Amazon isn't accepting a credit for my books, I usually just donate anything I don't read to my local library.

I've sold most of my books on Amazon. They have slightly lower rates than Ebay (for books, I don't know about other items). If it's a college book, I'll try to sell it on craigslist before the semester starts.

You could use half.com or amazon.com but you probably already know that. Good luck!

You could also try trade sites.
BookMooch.com (have tried successfully) if you want books in return, sites like swap.com (not personally tried) if you want other things. And there's other sites out there too.
Won't help pay your electric bill, but might give you new entertainment/work/gift stuff

hmm.  I have never sold books online, but after reading the posts here, I might give it a try.  I was wondering if people still were interested in actual books now that they have ereaders.

I used to go to book stores that were a book swap, but most of them have gone out of business.  Thanks for the suggestions.  I have ordered a new Kindle Fire so will be looking for free books to upload.
