Genesis 1:28-31 (The Living Bible)
« on: November 06, 2011, 07:59:15 pm »
And God blessed them and told them, "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it; you are masters of the fish and birds and all the animals. And look! I have given you the seed-bearing plants throughout the earth, and all the fruit trees for your food. And I've given all the grass and plants to the animals and birds for their food." Then God looked over all that he had made, and it was excellent in every way. This ended the sixth day.

Amen.  My little boys are in a program at church called AWANA.  They learn Bible stories and creation is early on in my 3 year olds lessons.  They are also learning memory verses. I just love to hear their little voices reciting the Bible.

TEACHING INTELIGENT DESIGN IS GREAT...  MY BIOLOGY CLASS IS BIG ON EVOLUTION AND I DON'T LIKE IT AT ALL. CHILDREN SHOULD LEARN AND THEN DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES WHAT THEY BELIEVE.

I love this verse it is quite nice My favorite book in the bible is the book of Genesis. It is absolutely the living bible. No question about it.

Proselytizing while bothering people & horses is ...

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

TEACHING INTELIGENT DESIGN IS GREAT...

What, precisely, is "great" about "teaching" something for which there is no tangible evidence whatsoever?

MY BIOLOGY CLASS IS BIG ON EVOLUTION AND I DON'T LIKE IT AT ALL. CHILDREN SHOULD LEARN AND THEN DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES WHAT THEY BELIEVE.

Should children also learn to discern the difference betweena testable theory, (evolution), and an untestable faith-based religious speculation?  That's not a rhetorical question; too many aren't being educated in the non-subtle distinctions there.
