Which do you like better white or dark meat?

I love white meat especially turkey! I don't like dark meat at all.

White meat is my preference.  This works out well in my family since my husband loves the dark meat.

The kids like both.

I like both, but the dark meat on a Turkey has a lot more flavor.

I like the dark meat better.  It has a different texture than the white meat does.

I always preferred dark meat over white.  I eat both, but dark has always been much more tender/tasty to me.  Also, I heard that dark meat is slightly cheaper than white (in general).

As far as "health" goes, dark meat only has a couple extra calories and 1 extra gram of fat (ounce per ounce) compared with white, so there's really not much difference choosing one over the other.  Also, dark meat tends to have a little extra minerals (like iron, zinc, B6, B12, etc) over white meat - which benefits could be rationalized to balance out the calorie/fat difference.  Either way, both are lower in fat than red meat - so have at both parts!

I prefer dark meat. I think the white meat is always drier than the dark.

I dont like any of the meat of chicken or turkey...the white meat is dry and flovorless and the dark meat has a lot of flavor but its to greasy.

I like the white meat or chicken breast rather than the thighs or legs. The "dark" meat is too greasy.
