Chess on cable??!!! Opinions

Currently optimum allows you to play chess fore free against other optimum users on channel 610, what do you guys think about that?

I think it is great.  I play chess online but it is mostly against the computer, I think it would be great to play against other people.

I played a couple of games with optimum, it fells a little weird playing chess with a remote control. I played 3 quick games against human beings, I won the first two games(taking the opponents queen in the first one XD), then I got demolished in the third game...

that's pretty neat! i think TV interaction is a cool way
for those who do not use the internet (or don't know
that online opponent gaming even exists) to interact.
it seems so futuristic to turn on the TV, choose a channel,
and play a game with someone! not sure why, since we
have the internet, lol
