I am ready as I can be.  This thanksgiving is my son's birthday so this thanksgiving is special.

I am ready. My sisters cook, I normally don't cook but i do help with the preparations. I also pick up the last minute stuff that my family needs or forgot for the big family dinner.

I usually have Thanksgiving at my house, but this year my aunt is having it, so I'm looking forward to not having to do all the work and organize everything. I can't wait!

We're just having a small dinner here at home. I've got a turkey and will fix some dressing, some veggies, potatoes, deviled eggs, rolls and a couple of pies.

Our dinner. My sister-in-law's and brothers. I'm bringing the veggies and potatoes and rolls. This will be the first year without my dad. But it will be great to be with family. :peace:

I am so ready! I can hardly open my freezer or my refrigerator at this point. It will be really good when Thanksgiving gets here so I can empty both sections out a bit!  I also have a pretty good start on the December holidays as well!  This year I am way ahead of the game.  Only unknown at this point is which day the cooking will happen.  My other half is "on call" and won't know the schedule until the last minute.  So Thanksgiving will either happen on the traditional Thursday or might be Saturday this year!  It won't matter - whatever day the celebration happens will be a great day.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :cat:
