The Walking Dead
« on: November 27, 2011, 12:57:27 am »
Does anyone out there in fusioncash like the tv show the "walking dead".  I am just crazy about it.  Don't know why zombies are so appealing in a tv show because I sure wouldn't want to meet one in real life (lol) Apparently judging by the popularity of the show I am not alone!  Also like zombie movies and can't believe someone didn't come up with a tv show about zombies before now.

Surprisingly I didn't like it that much. The 1st season was okay, but a lot of the acting and story arcs just seemed so forced onto the whole thing that it kind of ruined it for me. I've been told the 2nd season is better, but I have yet to see it so if more could confirm this, I'd probably sit down and watch it.

AMC is running a few of the latest episodes of TWD back to back tonight before the newest installment.  While they can't be fighting walkers all the time, any series is going to have 'contrived' subplots.  Some suspense remains about how the whole thing began, as well as with the lost girl and, as series go, I've seen worse.

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

The walking dead reminds me of the zombie coal miners in wyoming. They work such long hours. I don't know how they function. Like true robots I say.

Darn. Wish I saw this earlier! But yeah, it's an okay show. I don't despise it or anything. Maybe Left 4 Dead has spoiled me too much when it comes to zombies? Probably.

Rob Zombie sort of spoiled it for me.

Last night's show was a bit disturbing. It's a cross between jericho and dawn of the dead to me. I really do love the show though

The entire premise is meant to be disturbing; at least they finally found Sofia.

The unspoken underlying premise is interesting too; depicting what could happen to society and individual people when that society comes apart at the seams.

I really like this show.  I'm so glad they found Sophia and can't believe Lori is prego!!  I don't think it is Rick's baby!!  Oh well, I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I love The Walking Dead too. I did not know it existed until season 1 was over. I am addicted. It is hard because I don't have cable to watch it. And AMC stop posting the videos online. And they won't be back until February. I am hot about that. Along with a whole bunch of other people. :bs:
