YES.  when it comes to kids, you always have to step up. it's not their fault that certain things happen to them form what adults choose to do. i see a lot of stupid adults that haven't learned anything from becoming parents.  And in some cases such as tragedies, someone needs to step up and take care for children.  WOULDN"T YOU WANT THE SAME FOR YOURS.

It would depend on if you were helping a child or an adult I've opened my door to both and was rewarded with the knowledge the child was taken care of.   Recently tho my husbands friend from school came to stay a week and was still here 3 months later. It caused so much trouble in our relationship I'll not  be so ready with open arms next time. ::)

I would take them in.  They are kids and can't help it if they were born to some crazy people who got issues of their own.  To me all kids come first.  I wouldn't help enable the parents, but I would most defiantly help.

It really depends on the friend and their kid. Most of my friends have toddlers right now and there's this one who would be really cute if he didn't have snot hanging out of his nose all the time. The mother and father are always arguing on who is going to wipe his nose and stuff. And get this... they're pregnant again. They're two people who I dont think should be allowed to have kids.

People who have kids but don't take care of them in my opinion deserve to be shot IMO. Now I said DON'T not CAN'T. I understand that times right now are difficult and things change but the people I'm talking about are like the couple I mentioned above. They are capable of taking care of their son. They just don't. Like people who rather score some crack rather than buy food or diapers for the baby.

Those people sicken me.

I would absolutely take them in.  I have one son and trying for another child and I would not give it a second thought.  I love children and I am always worried about small chidren being influenced the right way.  I have often thought about fostering children.

I have been in this situation and the person was just beginning to be a friend...I have had the unfortunate luck of not having children up to this point in my life so it was a welcomed inconvience...friend made some bad decisions...I had her two kids for a year while she got herself and her crap together to be able to provide for these kids...she did and now they are a thriving family

I would def do it..  how could u not do that?  the children would go to a foster home and they havent done anything wrong..  children are innocent.
I agree completely!!  It always makes me sad to read the news and hear about children dying or starving or any of those bad things, they haven't done anything wrong to deserve it!  As you said, they are innocent!!

I think your an uncaring %&^
I agree!  You are an uncaring @$$!  Have you ever thought about if you were on the streets?  You would rely on the kindness of others to help you get back on your feet!  Karma is a B, and I hope it comes back on you Bradon08.

Yes, I would take them in.  Children are the innocent beings who are born to the wrong parents who are neglectful and abusive.

Does anybody ever think they had a bad upbringing-then you hear about kids who are beaten, abused, molested and thrown away.  THAT IS A REAL WAKE UP CALL.  Then you think back on your life and you can see that your parents actually loved you (even if you were a pain in the A**) and only wanted the best for you.
