my mom was 22 and i am the oldest and my husbands mom was 22 when she had him, and then when i had my oldest i was 22 ..lol this was not planneed

My mother was 22 when I was born.  I was the oldest sibling.  I was 33 when my daughter was born (only child), and she was 33 when her son was born (only child).  We both thought we were never going to have children, and we both had a miracle child!!!!  Love them to pieces!!!

My mother was 24 when I was born. I was the 2nd of 3 children. My parents met at an air force base during World war II. My dad was a soldier and my Mom was like a "Rosie the Riverter" doing mechanical work on warplanes. I am a "baby boomer" .

My mom was 22 when I was born and since it was the Great Depression they didn't want children so I was the only child and they probably would have preferred a boy if they had to have a kid.

I guess I got you all beat. My Mom was 1 month shy of her 39th birthday. I was a late in life birth and last child but, I guess when I was born in the early 50's I knew some Mom's giving birth well into their 40's. Nine and ten Kids in a family at that, and the funny thing about it, I don't remember seeing a down syndrom child in the bunch. I think it was a much better time!! I don't know if some of the Mom's back then would agree.
