This is a very informative post, thanks.
I've been receiving emails with secret shopper job, now you know where they're going.

As for Bank of America I would go into the bank and sit with an associate or a manager
Seeing that this is not an intentional incident on your part. BOK must have some experience of this
before you that they should have informed you on before depositing.
Plead your case your bank is supposed to protect you as well as your money.

What a great topic, I learned so much. I too received one of those
checks in the mail for $3500 on a Tuesday, received an email on Wednesday from a
friend asking me when did I go to Paris, the email said that I was stuck over there
and needed $1500 to return. And that a lawyer was assisting me in my
return home. Turned out my email addressed had been hacked.

And if that wasn't enough, I received a letter last week from this lady saying that
she had cancer and her husband had passed last year and left her all of his savings.
She wants to give me $10,000 instead of giving it to her greedy family members.
Lol, she don't even know me. We just have to watch our money, in this economy we
could see anything, when it comes to the DOLLAR.

I received that same email also saying I should contact her lawyer for the money. lol

Who thinks that this site is a scam. Has anyone had problems with this site? I so lost on why people think that Fusion Cash is a scam. Please explain yourself who ever thinks this site is a scam

Maybe you ought to actually take the time to read the first post before making an uninformed reply like the one above. :angry7: The thread topic is about being 'scammed' by cashing checks for Mystery Shopping that were not 'real'. It is NOT about FC being a scam or the checks we receive from FC being a scam! ::)

How dare u sit there and say that. U need to look at the post I posted to someone who said that FC was a scam. I was just replying to a quote someone had said. U need to read before u critizie someone.

That was your post earlier in this thread in the context of FC.  No one was quoted in your reply.  The remainder of the thread is within the context of receiving & cashing unsolicited checks.  A request for payments in the form of a check from FC is a solicited request.

But someone has posted that FC was a scam I was just replying on that post. How is it solicited to request a check from this site, then every site that offers check payments is solicited.

You didn't quote the post you were replying to in that regard and the only other mention of it in this thread was from a banned member.

Once the cash-out threshold is reached on FC, (or, other sites which offer payment options), the member can request a check, (or direct deposit/paypal credit).  That's 'soliciting' a check.  An unsolicited check is one which shows up without requesting it; as in the main context of this thread under discussion.  Since FC doesn't send a check unless it is requested/solicited, the context isn't FC "scamming" in that manner.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I can understand why the bank closed your account, I am sure to them it was fraud and they had to close the account.   Now why the bank did not let you open another account, I do not know why.   You may not be able to open up a checking account at any bank.  I am so sorry for you about this scam.

An earlier poster suggested you talk to the bank manager. That would normally be my course of action as well. Although in this case I think you mentioned you banked at B of A and personally I would not pursue any relationship with them. In fact, if you have an option for a credit union I would highly suggest that. Way more personally supportive of you and less stringent in cases like the one you are describing. At a credit union their concern would be for you and your account would not be summarily closed. Tough lesson, but perhaps it gives you a chance to bank with a friendlier institution? :cat:

i must play devils advocate with this topic. If you get a check in the mail and have done nothing to earn it. That should throw up a red flag. I have gotten the checks in the mail, and have thrown them in the trash. "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is"

Perhaps i am just jaded but I must agree.

Is there a site or even on here, a place that tells which are legit? I refuse to give my phone or pay for anything. My daughter is needing to make money too.
