I love to see my daughter's face Christmas morning when she is surprised to see all the presents.  And the expressions on her face as she's opening them. It just warms up my heart

my favorite part of Christmas is getting together with the family and friends enjoying each other seeing we don't spend much time to gather it is nice to watch old family videos and talk about how funny we were back in the day and its even better that i videos with my mother in them cause my mom passed away 2 years ago and it is nice to be with family when i break down to cry they are here for me and that is what the Christmas is all about the birth of Jesus giving and being with family and friends

I don't really like the food, because my family ALWAYS eats the same chinese food EVERY holiday, but I love the snow and spending time with my 20 cousins. My four older cousins play cod or mw3 on the xBox360 and always tease me because I'm not as good as them. I love going to my cousin's house to celebrate any kind of holiday. My cousin Ricky who owns a big advertising company is coming back for Christmas this year from California. I love it when he comes back, because he rarely comes home for holidays. It's special when he even comes back twice.

I like the fact that so many people are saying the same thing here -- that it's not about spending money and being materialistic!!  In the current economy I think everyone is having to cut back a bit on spending.  Personally, I'd rather just spend quality time with my family and friends than anything else.

My favorite activity at this time of year is baking fancy holiday cookies with my daughter.  We put together boxes of gourmet cookies to give to friends/family -- it's a lot less expensive than going out and buying gifts (even greeting cards are getting to be too expensive!) and still spreads a little holiday cheer.  I know a lot of people who don't/won't bake anymore, so they really appreciate getting a dozen hand-made treats!
