Last summer an owl started visiting a neighbor of mine.  The owl did not seem concerned with humans, and in fact seemed rather fond of them as it would land right beside the neighbor and hang around for awhile.  Later we found out that from another person that it was most likely an owl that had been rescued and rehabilitated and releases as their were a few in the area.

Owls are very unique and interesting birds.  I love looking at them and listening to them.  They are also nice to have as knick knacks on the shelf.
