I am terrified of a loved one getting hurt.  Snakes also freak me out.

Spiders are what used to scare me something awful.  I still don't like them, but the fear is somewhat subdued now.  I don't mind daddy long legs, but the other ones can go way to fast for me.

SNAKES!!! ANY kind of them too. Sends chills up my spine! I could live in a world without them!

domesticated snakes are of the most docile animals i can think of... most of them will just chill in your hand and slither around. sorry to hear youre so afraid of them.
