It's about time, the barbie has always been the bases of what it means to beautiful & what a girl's body should look like. This template or example for young girls have lead to deaths from girls starving themselves or binging over eating then making themselves throw up the food recently digested. Then to indicate that barbie can't do math b/c it's too hard. Implying that barbie goes through life by her looks not her brains. So, yahh to baldy barbie!

You could just cut the hair off the Barbie's you already have.

I can see how this could be a very touching and sweet thing, especially for a child who's mother or grandmother, etc, has cancer.  However I have trouble seeing Mantle doing such.  I mean, what else could be asked of Barbie?  Is she going to have to get other dieases?  Would people feel as warm about a Barbie with HIV?  I know that seems extreme but the manufactors have to decide where to draw the line. 
I sort of think they could just do a focus on a barbie that can have wigs exchanged or something.  and I agree with a previous statement, that a cancer or bald barbie is likely to be something for adults not kids. 
Kids do like barbie not for their realistic-ness, but because they are pretty.

I think that is a great idea. Instead of coming with changes of clothes or shoes it can come with changes of wigs. I hope they do come out with a barbie like this.
