After long denying I needed this much technology in a phone, I bought my Android a few months ago and simply love it.  I think it has everything on there except the long answer to pie.  :notworthy: :peace:

Go with android, lg optimus v has the cheapest smartphone service in the world, just $35 a month everything unlimited except calls(600 minutes) and your not in a contract. Has youtube and you can download apps that let you make money off your cellphone similar to what fusion does!!!!!

I finally invested in an Android back in June as I am looking for a new job. It does most of what I want it to. It is nice that I can check emails when I am on the road. I too am really only caught up to texting from my previous phone. I do like the keyboard and the smart words so I can write faster but as  man with big fingers sometimes they get in the way. I am not so big on apps as I do not rely on that instrument for everything. I check in on my FB once in a while but I don't trust banking and other things that I feel should be secure. I don't play games online or on the phone, I think I have better things to do with my time. But so far I am happy. Unfortunately for me, where I live is close to the Gulf of Mexico and no matter what service I have I don't get the best reception at my home. I do much better when I move inland where there are more towers and satellites, etc. I went with a package from Boost mobile as they were offering a declining monthly payment. 6 months at $50, then six months at $45 and after that I will remain at $35 and all is unlimited. I set it up for auto withdrawal and have had all the payments on time which was another condition. I think I will remain happy with it. I just wish I got better reception closer to home.

I would think so because,  the android offers more free apps that are actually good. Whereas other only have corny stuff that they offer for free

I just got an Android phone - 1 week ago. I am still trying to find and figure out the 'apps'.
It seems so far there are a lot out there, but I am still 'fiddling around' with it
