Rewards for Attempting Surveys
« on: January 16, 2012, 01:20:44 pm »
This has probably been suggested many times over but I do not remember ever seeing this suggestion.

Is there any way to reward members for attempting a survey even when they do not qualify? Even a penny or two?

i have never qualified for a Fusion Cash survey and have mostly given up trying. One can spend a lot of time trying to qualify for a survey before getting the message that they do not. I might be more willing to keep trying if I knew that i would be compensated, even a small amount, for trying.

 :dontknow:

Not a bad idea.  I totally agree that it can take some time trying to even qualify for the surveys being offered.  Lately for whatever reason the "MyThoughtsCount" surveys has been asking what my race one scrreen after the next.  Right after I answer it -- the next screen asks the same exact question.  I'm not really complaining but it just seems odd since I haven't really in the past had the same question being asked in consecutive screens.

I've been thinking this since I started taking surveys. You end up giving a good bit of info just for the chance to qualify.
I've run into that repeat question thing also. In fact, I'm more surprised when I don't get a repeat. Makes me think I'm "qualifying" to more than what's presented or whatever.

I agree - it is very frustrating when you spend alot of time answering questions over and over only to hear you dont qualify. Seems that I get to the race part of qualification and I'm denied. I also find that if I dont work in the catagories that they supply I'm also denied, when if I was working in those catagories I would be making enough money where I wouldn't need to depend on income made with the online surveys.

Actually, it is usually just the opposite for me. I work in market research. I always answer "yes" honestly when asked. Then it is over for me.  I do not qualify, :dontknow:

I hate it when I'm supposedly "qualifying" for a survey, but yet I'm answering all these questions like it's a regular survey, then two minutes later I get the message "Sorry, you didn't qualify for this survey". I totally agree with the rewards for attempting a survey. It's not our faults that we don't qualify! But at least we tried! Even just a few cents would do!

I'm still new at this but I agree.  Your time is still valuable and filling out these surveys and not qualifying is a bit annoying if you're not getting anything at all!  I'd be happy with .05 cents.

Today is the first time I did a survey and luckily I qualified. I didn't know that you don't get paid for not qualifying. Thanks for the heads up and I agree that we should get something for taking the time to fill out the first part even if we don't qualify for the second part. Also, the personal FC surveys that we have to take for the bonus should better match us to surveys that we qualify for.

By the way, is it always required to give your race before a survey?

I think it is because they say they are trying to represent a certain portion of the population in the surveys so it would be an area they apparently have included. I think they should leave this out of surveys myself but thats my opinion.

It can be annoying the time spent trying to qualify.  Especially since some surverys will qualify you, then send you to a link that tries to qualify you again and might not be able to.  However, the financial rewards are given to us when we complete a survey because that's how FC gets paid---by completed surveys.  They don't make any money when we don't qualify, thus we don't get any credits.  If you think about it, I'd rather get paid for what I qualify for than risk losing any option for gaining funds.
