Revoked Payment
« on: January 19, 2012, 09:39:00 am »
I find it funny when I receive an email like this:

The advertiser for FC Survey: Consumer Product Survey has revoked payment for your signup.  We have adjusted your account to remove the credit for FC Survey: Consumer Product Survey and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We are unable to provide compensation in the event of advertiser revocation.  Typically, advertisers revoke credit because they determined that you did not have a legitimate interest, or if they detect fraudulent activity such as the use of a pre-paid or un-billable credit card.  Payments are also revoked if you have signed up for the offer (or a similar one) in the past, as advertisers may consider such sign-ups to be duplicate and fraudulent.

This is funny to me because I never lie on surveys and if it is a survey I have taken before I just quit the survey because I know I probably won't get credit for it. It would be nice if the survey company told you exactly what your money was taken back for. Now I can just sit here and wonder what I did wrong. Especially since I did this survey a month ago.  :(
