Positive thinking is not about EXPECTING the BEST to happen It`s about ACCEPTING that whatever will happen, it`s for the BEST.

Maybe that's a thought that will help me get thru the divorce I just had to file, eventhough, my world seems totally destroyed and unfixable.

I also believe it's important to focus on the positive.  From where I stand...there seems to be...advantages and disadvantages with everything.

I enjoy creating positive affirmations that lift me mentally and emotionally.

I have a beautiful life...and...every day in every way, my life gets better and better and better.  I am truly blessed.

Have a great day!

laine39~ So,sorry that you're going through such a depressing situation.Getting a divorce is like someone has died in the family. The only difference is that your soon to be ex will seem like a ghost to you.Someone who's still alive but just walking around soul less & hollow.He/she is no longer the same person you fell in love with in the beginning.Yes,you feel like your world has just shattered but it will get better a little bit each day. I don't agree with positive thinking as accepting whatever happens is for the best. To me,positive thinking is whatever happens to you, you don't accept that it's for the best.Positive thinking to me is how you react to the situation!I'm hoping that you'll get better/stronger as time goes on.It will take a while for the hurt to slowly fad away & that your world seem to be destroyed/shattered.Remember,that you're the captain of your world& when you're stronger& your wounds have healed take back the controls & go forward!
