I don't watch that show because the kids having kids are spoiled brats and don't appreciate what there family's do for them and it makes me want to slap them. I watched it a few times and I couldn't believe how imature some of these teen parents are.

I don't watch the show either. It glorifies teen pregnancy. These girls think they're celebrities. I've even heard of teenage girls saying that they want to get pregnant so they can try to get on the show and have their five minutes of fame. That disgusts me.

I won't ridicule you; I envy you....

That show is despicable; like twol stated:  it glorifies teen pregnancy.

I don't see it as glorifying teen pregnancies. If anything it shows that having a baby isn't just about having a cute thing to dress up and play with when you want. It actually shows the realities they face because of their decisions. One of them got pregnant the first time she had sex. Others got pregnant because they just didn't feel the need to use condoms because they just knew they wouldn't get pregnant. Others were on birth control and still got pregnant. Some have to deal with the fathers that don't care anything about their child and have to deal with their parents disappointed in their choices. They have to deal with essentially giving up the rest of the rest of their childhood and being forced to become adults before they were ready. It seems like a pretty accurate representation of teen motherhood to me. The show may even serve as a scare tactic.

There have been girls wanting to get pregnant as teens way before the show came on and I'm sure it will continue long after the show ends

i watch the show and i think of it has both sides negative and positive i think negative because it is with a bunch of spoiled kids that just wanna get famous but i also think positive because these teen girls are out there getting pregnant no matter how it happend and they thinks its all good during there pregnancy but as soon as they have the baby its not fun anymore and i honestly think parents should have there childeren watch all the seasons because i feel in my heart that its a great lesson for them.

I've watched it and there are some seriously stupid girls on that show. Most are spoiled, I think there's two chicks actually having to face the consequences. The show is more negative than positive. I remember the whole "lets get pregnant so when can be on tv" thing. It reminded me of the pregnancy pact from years ago.

This generation embarrasses me.

Ugh, I personally am a teen mom and to watch that show makes me feel sick. It's really ridiculous how little some of the girls learn as time goes by, the show is all about drama and the mom, you hardly ever see the hardships that teen moms or any moms face... it focuses on hanging out with friends and keeping boyfriends instead of leaving all the unimportant behind and starting a new grown up life.

I used to watch Teen Mom, but Janelle and Farrah ruined it for me. Farrah is completely spoiled and felt that getting breast implants is money better spent than on her child. Don't even get me started on Janelle who, as of 4 days ago, is BACK IN JAIL (this time, sporting a big smile in her mug shot). I have friends that are teen moms and I've been with them through everything and they never had the extra money to get their nails done all the time, or hair extensions put in, or get piercings (if you're seen the show, you know EXACTLY which mom's I'm referring to.) because they spent every dollar they earned on their child.
