Sending money instantly online
« on: January 21, 2012, 03:45:48 pm »
Can anyone help me please? I've been trying to send someone some money online, not with Paypal, but nothing I try works. I tried Western Union, and they denied me, then I tried sending he money through a Netspend Instant bank transfer invitation, and they denied me also. My debit card is valid and has enough funds, so I don't know why they are giving me such a hard time. I tried calling both places, and they just give me some off the wall answer that doesn't make any sense. So are there any other options?

I don't know.....what is it telling you, when it's "denied"? Is it saying the card is declined, or something else?
Because if the card is being declined, you'll have to contact the bank that issued the card, WU has nothing to do with your card being declined.
I've never heard of the other place, Netspend, but I would bet that's the same situation - not something they have control over.

I don't think this one will be any different, but did you also try MoneyGram?

**Is it possible that your transaction limit or daily limit on the debit card are lower than what you are trying to send?

How come it won't play?

I have never tried to send money online to someone so I am sorry I couldn't help.  It could be your bank that your debit card is from sometimes they decline transactions if they are supiciouse of the transaction.

It's not my debit card or bank. Western Union said that they were unable to process the transfer. Netspend says the transfer request is denied. It is obviously from their end, as my card works well anywhere else, and in the case of Western Union, I am actually trying to use a Western Union card!
I never tried Moneygram, but I'll check it out.
