The stock market wasn't kind to me at all, this is why I am on sites like this trying to make money which has not been happening lately because I never qualify for the surveys. I have read many articles stating that paper money is loosing its value everyday and the best place to put your money is in gold and silver to leave a legacy for your family.

Just keep in mind, if things get really bad you can't eat gold or silver.

I like building into the market.  Start with a savings account.  Move into a money market. Throw a hundred dollars into a mutual fund.  If you want to go riskier but less risk than the market try a lending web site like prosper or lending club.  Then head into the market and invest in something that you know and figure when the best time of the year to buy it is. Retail stocks lower wight months before the Holiday season? Chocolate/floral stocks eight months before Valentines day...something that makes sense.  Invest in your company's 401k plan if they offer a matching incentive...that ois free money!

If you're daring, roll the dice and put your life savings into Facebook.  You might find yourself rich over time.  However, if you're smart, let the people who spend every day analyzing the markets take care of things for you.  Just find a highly rated mutual fund with a low expense ration and invest over time, i.e. dollar cost averaging.  You can't lose.

After losing $35,000 overnight in the stock market and finally realizing how manipulated it is, I started investing TIME into learning about the Internet and boy, am I glad I did!

I recommend investing in whatever you understand.  If you don't understand the stock market, probably not a good idea

How about buying something thats real? You know, things like land. Something that is useful regardless of the state of the economy.

If any of us had quality stock tips for you, we would be on fusion cash.   It depends how much money you have to invest but this is a great time to invest in real estate.
