Looking for fun, older games

After playing Socom and Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain, both for PS2, I am now looking for more fun, older games for Playstation 2.

I do not want games which are...
- short
- music theme (Rock band, guitar hero, etc)
- for young kids (anything from Nickelodeon, etc)
- first-person shooters (third-person games are OK)

Are there any you know of that you would recommend?
