It depends on your dependants and your age.  I do tax for family and friends My son becasue he is under 25 he can't get the earned income credit you have to be 25 or have children and he doesn't qualify for any which is a bummer. If you already did your taxes you should know what your getting back or owe.

Not yet.. Going to set up an appointment with H&R block, they do it for free until the 29th of this month... :icon_rr:

Yes I did my taxes about two weeks ago and refund money is gone already..It doesnt take long for the money to go due to dryer let me down and catch up on bills and that about it

I haven't done mine yet but plan to do so in the next couple weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get a decent refund this year. It's always a guessing game. Happy Tax Season to all!

I did my taxes in January. I already got my Federal about a week ago and got audited for my state  >:(. They claim I didn't send supporting evidence for what I was claiming. I send them my response and all supporting evidence today and hopefully I'll get my money soon  :). Hope this only happened to me and not anybody else. Getting audited for no reason is just annoying.

I jumped the gun and did them a little early but put through an amendment and it was pretty painless. already got some of the money back so waiting on the rest now.

Yesterday was the big day.  Got them done....took my tax lady to lunch and I'm even getting refunds from both the feds and the state this year.  Can't believe it. :wave: :wave:
