Denied Credit - Why?
« on: August 21, 2007, 03:19:18 pm »
Hello,

I signed up for the Pure Health Hoodia offer and even payed for and received the free trial. After receiving it, I did cancel because there is a better deal on Hoodia out there. My offer was then denied and Fusion took back the $18. Why is this?

Recently, a few of our advertisers have refused to make payment to FusionCash in return for signups completed.  This can occur due to several reasons: the user signing up and then canceling the product or service, several other users doing the same, the company going out of business or going bankrupt, etc.  FusionCash, like many of its users, is very frustrated with these instances of non-payment, but unfortunately, the course of action that is available to us is very limited.  Please understand that we are doing everything we can to ensure that every completed offer is rewarded as advertised, but that sometimes offer credit may be revoked.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

How come my account takes so long to get credited, its now more than 2 months and I still have not gotten credit from some ties, I have purchased and none of my credits under $7 has not been credited and many of the instant credits are not credited, a lot of my offers where expired and not credited this is making me feel like I don't want to continue because I truthfully buy stuff and I dont get credit and thats not fear.

Is there anyway you can check my completed offers and see why I am not getting paid.

I did all that was required  and was denied, I sent the only email confirmation that I had from gottaplay and I was denied, i dont understand.

GottaPlay     2007-06-15      Denied       Credit Request Denied:

Sorry, but the provided email is not sufficient proof of completion. We require a dated signup confirmation or receipt.

If i can show proof from my statement that I did sign up and paid will I get credited then?
and how will I request for credit again?

Seems like you should be able to get credit if you provide your bill from them. The advertisers know that you've signed up and paid, I'm sure they keep a record.

natoya,
Your credit request was denied because the email you submitted was not the dated signup confirmation. If you have that email, please open a support ticket so that we can help resubmit your credit request. You have several other credit requests that are still pending -- these have all been forwarded to the advertiser, so at this point we are just waiting for a response. I understand that this can be a frustrating process; thank you for your continued patience.

michaeljones,
your credit request is still being processed. Most credit requests take up to 6-8 weeks to be approved.

FusionCash can apologize all day long for any inconvienance, but it's the $4.95 that I am concerned about. I believe I am entitled to at LEAST a credit for that. FusionCash says they will give you credit for trying the free trial. There are no other stipulations (to my understanding) saying you have to do more. Unless it's in the fine print, I'd say that constitutes breach of contract. Any ideas here?

Again, we're sorry that it didn't credit but the Terms of Service (which is the contract you're talking about) says:
Quote
FusionCash uses industry-standard tracking software, but occasionally offers fail to credit. FusionCash does not guarantee payments for offers which fail to track and credit. If an offer fails to credit, the user may request manual credit by supplying a confirmation email from the offer. FusionCash does not guarantee credit after a manual credit request is posted.
The reason for this lies in the nuts-and-bolts technical issues associated with offer completion tracking.  The bottom line is that the tracking event occurs, by definition, on the end user's browser.  As such, there is no reasonable way that a site such as FusionCash can guarantee credit - we are completely disconnected from the process.

If you read the Terms of Service, they instruct you to read the Offer Crediting Info Page which has a rudimentary cookie test built-in.  I would be interested to know if you "pass" or "fail" currently.

As evidenced by topics such as this, our offers do indeed credit.  I have the statistics for them in front of me, and every single active offer has an above average conversion rate (meaning they are CREDITING and crediting for MORE PEOPLE than the industry average).

Again, my sincere apologies for your less than pleasant experience.  We do our best, but a certain amount of non-credit is simply built into the process.
