I read the Inheritance saga back in middle school and was waiting for Inheritance (the last one) to come out.  Christopher Paolini finally finished it! ah, so that's what I'm reading now.  I also loved Atonement by Ian McEwan, and people told me that The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was really good. (:

If you are interested in brushing up on your writing skills or just want a few fun tips on writing, The Grammar Devotional: Daily Tips for Successful Writing From Grammar Girl might be the book to try.  It is written by Mignon Fogary.

depending on what genre of books u like, I would suggest anything written by James Patterson (particularly the Women's Murder Mystery Club) they are page turners.

One book that I read recently and highly recommend is The Courage To be Free, by Charlton Heston. It is a great book that exposes the plot of the global elite to destroy our freedom through cultural warfare, and tells practical things we can do to overcome that.

I love JD Robb,it is murder mysteries mixed with Romance and a bit of sci fi, if you are more into the romance, what she writes under her real name(Nora Roberts) is excellent also.

I just finished reading Let's Take the Long Way Home, by Gail Caldwell. It was a really lovely memoir, although I have to warn you it was a tear jerker!

I love reading, too.  Got the Kindle app for my iPad, but it is hard to read in the sun.  There's still nothing like a good book to hold in your hand  (Thanks FC for the Quality Paperbacks offer)

I love to read paperback books in the pool ---  my current favorite is called The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks--- great story!

The Hunger Games. The books were really good. I have not seen the first movie yet, but my daughter has and she said it was ok not as good as the books though.

I just finished reading Hiss of death by Rita Mae Brown. I love her books. They are just fun mysteries. I am just getting ready to read A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness Book One of the All Souls Trilogy. A co-worker gave me the book to read. she said it was really good.
