Who Banks at Wells Fargo?

I have been a banker for tenty years of my life and just ran into another example of why Wells Fargo gives horrible service.  I live off of my debit card and, consequently, wear it out about every eight months. Every time I need a new card it takes them a month to get it to me. Most recently I had the card sent to them and they had it in their branch on a Thursday, called me to come and get it, and they had shredded it the next day because they thought that I wasn't coming in.  I reordered the card and checked up on it two weeks later and it hadn't been ordered.  I reordered it a third time and  was told my wife could pick it up.  She got there and they wouldn't let her have the card. I took off of work so that I could come in and get it and never received an apology after waiting 25 minutes for them to get the card!  Never had that problem at Chase!

I only have my car loan thru them, and that's only because they inherited it from Wachovia.  They are a little strange on occasion.  I do my actual banking at U. S. Bank

I absolutely HATE Wells Fargo. When they were Wachovia, they provided excellent service. Once they merged and became Wells Fargo, it's like they fired all the good people and replaced them with idiots and nasty ones. Once it changed over, I was charged random fees on my checking account for no reason. I had to argue with them non-stop to tell them to remove the fees because I did not authorize any charges on my account. Then I cancelled my account with them because I didn't officially have my husband listed on my account, but he was only trying to make deposits into my account with his paycheck, and they told him he couldn't. Now, my husband's payroll checks are drawn on a Wells Fargo account, and he has tried to cash it at the bank, were he has a right to since it is drawn on that account, and they tell him it's a fee of $7.50. And on top of that, the tellers tell him he's stupid and should just open an account with them so he won't be charged. We have been through so much crap with these fools that I decided it wasn't worth it trying to cash his check on payday and instead I just wait the 2 or 3 business days for it to clear in my other checking account at a different bank.

I actually have accounts at 4 banks, 1 of which is Wells Fargo.  So far, I haven't had any problems with them.  They handled almost all of the paperwork when I purchased (and they financed) my house, and, with an exception of a glitch when they sold my mortgage a few months later, it all went smoothly.  They're big and that can lead to less customized customer care, but at my local branch they're always friendly.  Maybe I'm just lucky?!

I use to bank at wells fargo but I changed banks because of personal reasons.

I have a Wells Fargo account because I got a mobile home loan from them and that was part of the terms. I had to get direct deposit and the payment comes out automatically. I've had the account almost 6 years and no trouble yet. They gave me extensions two times because of hurricanes which was a big help.

i just recently started banking with wells fargo in january, i haven't had any issues so far and i hope that continues

I hate Wells Greedy Fargo! Have you heard the latest? Now they want people to pay $84 a year to have a checking account. I am sick of them and I hope that people will wise up, myself included and take their money out of that bank. I feel sorry for the people who have to work there because most of them are very nice at the branch I go to.
