That's a very tough question.  So many variables come into play.  What kind of food you like,  where you live,  how well a place is managed, etc.  Even the places I like the best around here can have "off days."  I would say, get reviews from your friends and family, and then try some out for yourself.

Many of the local TV stations have online reviews posted on their website. One of them here even posts the ones with the most code violations and the ones that get a perfect score with no violations.

All the best in finding a place to eat.
I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

I guess that depends on what is in your area.  I live in Ohio and one of my favorite restaurants is CHEDDARS.  They have a great selection, good price and great food.  Also Olive Garden is good if you like Italian food.

It definitely depends on the city you live in. There are some chain restaurants. Some are not. Yet, even the chain restaurants have limited areas. O'Charley's  Restaurant is in Tennessee and a just a few states surrounding. When you do find a good restaurant, the owner can give you information which cities you canfind the others. I have heard people say that a chain restaurant can vary place to place depending on the particular employees running the place.
