wow that sucked
« on: March 12, 2012, 08:02:48 pm »
So I was just doing a FC daily survey for $2.70  and I was almost 70% through about 20-30 minutes in.. it was a long one that involved a virtual shopping expeirence in a grocery store.. (the long part had alot to do with it waiting for it to load tho) after I did the virtual shopping I was answering questions and when typing my palm touched the touchpad on my laptop and inadvertantly sent the browser 'back' a page. BOOM no longer able to continue with survey..  :BangHead:  :angry7: :BangHead:  :angry7: :BangHead:

When I tryed to refresh it still would not let me continue and of course since its a one shot only FC survey I could not even start over. This frustrates me like no other.. an inadvertant tap of the touchpad and $2.70 gone just like that!  :angry7: I usually have my touchpad locked for this very reason (and use a mouse) but everytime I turn back on or restart my computer it automaticly is unlocked and I forgot.

I finaly qualify for a FC Survey after a dry streak and do most of it, have the $2.70 all but guarenteed at that point, then the simplest little nothingness like touching the wrong spot on my laptop screws me.. Guess theres nothing I can do about it.. just wanted to vent.

Sorry to hear that. I feel the pain as I've had cases like this where I inadvertly hit something and in my scenario closed the browser. There are some survey vendors sophisticated enough to retain your place, but once in a blue moon I do something similar to what you do. Other cases I ran into have been surveys telling me the quota has been met at the end, power outages, time outs (i.e. been away from a survey too long due to an activity such as a meal), buggy or poorly written sites (no next button), slow (or down) sites, etc.

The same exact thing happened to me with that survey. It said it was supposed to be like 15 minutes long and 30 minutes into it, I wasn't even a quarter of the way done. Then, it told me to watch a commercial or something and the video would never load. I refreshed it over and over again and it never loaded, so I could not go on to the next page. I emailed the survey company and they said you may have a slow internet connection or sometimes there are glitches in the surveys.  >:( Thanks a lot....definitely a waste of time on that one.

It does suck and even though nothing can be done about it, it does help to vent. The forum has many purposes including allowing members to vent.  :BangHead:

I have had a few difficulties with surveys. I actually spent 20 minutes completing one. Got through the demos, to the thank you and submit page. I did so and the next screen said, "Sorry, you disqualified". I wrote support but it never got resolved. I never got credit. This was not Fusion Cash: it was another site. So these things happen. It sounds like you made a mistake costing you the survey but sometimes it is a computer glitch or the survey.

Not much you can do about it but vent. And hope that you have better luck with the next survey.

So sorry. At least you were able to qaulify. It seemd like I spent 5 minutes doing that survery before they told me I didn't qualify. Couldn't they figure that in after the first several question.

While taking the exact same survey the video part did not load for me either. It did have anything to with my internet speed as I have completed surveys since then. The problem is with their survey.

Sorry about your bad luck! I think we have all experienced some form of bad luck doing the surveys. Maybe you could put a sticky note on your computer reminding you to lock it once you have gotten on it. Don't give up!!
