Sometimes it is nice to have nosey neighbors because they will be keeping a good eye on your house when you are out of town, without even knowing it.

I don't think any of my neighbors are nosy. I'm more nosy than they are because I don't trust my renter's live-in. She was trouble when she lived there before but says shes changed.  We'll see. I told him next time anything happened, they were both leaving.

I used to live in a tiny apartment complex and when I would drive home, my neighbor would come out and start talking to me about random things. I think he was a savant or something, but sometimes he would just creep me out. He was nice and I didn't get any bad vibes from him... But still, doing laundry was a "covert operation"

I am the Nosy neighbor. I moved into some apartments a couple of years ago over the past few months some drug dealers have moved in I make a police report every time I watch one go down. As far as moving I will when I find the right place.  but in the mean time I report to the police and my manager.
Never give up!!!

I don't like it when HOA people go around and cite you for having one weed in your yard. That happened to us a bunch of years ago. We worked hard almost every day of the week to manicure our lawn. These people must have nothing better to do than to find one weed! Our neighbors had a yard full. I don't think they were ever warned. So glad that I now live somewhere that has no HOA.

My last neighbor must have thought there was a HOA... She had told me that the chain-link fence was against the neighborhood governance (even though we bought the house with the fence, there wasn't any such thing as the "neighborhood governance", and many other houses in the neighborhood -- even on the same street -- had much larger chain-linked fences), complained about weeds in my yard (they were mostly on the edge of my lot where it bordered an undeveloped, wild grassland), complained about my deck in the backyard as not being painted (I had painted it the previous summer, so it was still in good shape), etc. To top it off, she said about the weeds that her and other neighbors were concerned about the state of my yard, and that she wanted to talk with me before reporting me to the authorities... Thus not only was she nosey, but she was also a huge gossip!  :BangHead: I'm so glad there family moved into the country a few months ago.
