Survey Database
« on: March 20, 2012, 09:06:44 am »
In a perfect world, we could enter answers to all of the qualifying questions in one initial survey, and that data would be stored in a database that the survey companies could access when we participate in their surveys.  Then we would have an automatic qualify/disqualify every time we opted to do a survey.  There could be one daily checklist to go through to update this.  We would not get paid for any surveys if we had not completed the update that day.

That is a great idea that you applying to.. I don't know if the host of the surveys really care if they go through thousands of people to just make their quota that they are looking for..

2 problems with the database concept
1) fusioncash would store/share a lot more information than most of us want and
2) personal info changes over time and with context... knowing when you bought your car won't always disclose the make/model.
trust me, i get fed up with rejection too. wish this were possible  :confused1:

That does seem like a fairly good idea. I understand though the problems with storing that much information. There should be a way, somehow, to narrow down the field more to figure out what surveys we qualify for. Maybe if there was a mini survey to take that  skipped straight to the point for each full size survey. For example, if it is about owning a certain type of car, one of the questions should be do you own this type of car. An example of this would be : Age, Income, Location, Key Question. If you answer "wrong" to any of these questions, it would take 4 seconds of your time instead of longer. FC wouldn't have to hold a bunch of information, and we wouldn't be spending our time taking surveys only to be told we are disqualified at the end of them. :cat:

I don't even bother with surveys. I can qualify for them and I don't have time to waste.

almost all surveys are scams! thats why I dont waste my time with them anymore. I can be ten minutes in a survey then all of a suddent it says I no longer qualify! I just do tasks and daily offers surveys are so rude lol!

I've spent a lot of time with surveys and have found that on most sites like FC,, Maybe... 1out of 10 surveys you'll qualify for and that even on dedicated survey sites 1 out of five. most are a waste of time .

I guess I agree with the begining of this topic, one part of doing the surveys that I don't like is continuing to put my info in each time and every new time in each survey. By the time you get the qualifing part done your thinking please let me qualify for this one to just give me hope that all this background information was worth the effort. For you newbe's the livesample survey does not seem to have enter buttons after you fill out the first form and move to the 2nd page. When you answer the questions there just feel around until you see the forward url link at bottom of page and then click to move forward. Then the page expands and on the bottom left side the survey invite appears. For me the invite is half off the page. Again search with your mouse until you find the spot with forward link and click to move on with survey. The first time I did this survey I left it cause no button was visible and I thought it had not loaded correctly. Then after several trys I figured it out.   ::)

Thanks sweely for the information about that survey.  I have left it due to not being able to find the buttons to continue.  I think I will try it again today.

Your very welcome. I am sure we are not the only ones who left this survey thinking it was a lost cause. But this survey is the one I have had better luck with then most. So try it again and good luck.

I believe some survey sites actually do this. I know one does. You log in to the site, it looks at your profile info and selects available surveys for you. You can edit your profile info at any time. Saves time when attempting surveys.
