Never been to a pow wow,  but I am familiar with the term.  I would love to be able to attend one if given the opportunity.

Yes, I love going to pow wows, if you mean the american indian festivals that celebrate culture and diversity. There is always a great many crafts and shows and lovely exhibits that teach you about whichever culture it may be. I love collecting dream catchers when I go. I also love to sample the food, I myself am a big fan of the flat breads sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar or maybe savory with some cheese. One of my favorite parts of these pow wows are going to the different booths and hearing the stories behind the creation of various crafts and tools, and then being able to take home what I deem an important part of history. Most of these events donate the money that they earn back into the community that started it, so I know the funds are going to a good place. Its a great way to spend a spring or summer day, and I hope one is coming to my area soon. :cat:

Yes this is what I am talking about. I have participated in them. It takes a lot of work to put these together. My fiancee is a veterans. one of those who would carry the flags. I am working with my daughter to have her be a fancy shawl dancer

No, I have never been to a pow wow before; I never heard of it. I do not know what it is so I am not at all familiar with it.

I love the flatbreads with sugar and honey! You brought back so many memories! When I was little, my grandma and grandpa would always take me to an annual american indian festival in their area. Their clothing and costumes are truly works of art. I always liked to go through the booths to see all of the lovely crafts and watch the dances. I still have a few ornaments from them. I would definitely recommend it, it's a great experience. :D
