Why Vote?
« on: March 28, 2012, 11:20:47 am »
I understand the electoral college and that is not what bothers me.  What bothers me is the biasness of the voting ballot.  Take Virginia’s republican ballot for example.  There are only two choices on the ballot: Mitt Romney (of course) and RonPaul.  Now you would have atleast thought with Newt Gingrich’s background they would have had the decency to atleast at him but they didn’t.  Now anyone not following the republican presidentcal race would think, okay choice a or choice b with no clue or second thought that there may be more out there.  How can I go to the poll and pick choice a or b knowing that someone denied choice’s c through f the chance for votes?  And another thing.  They say Romney claimed several state victories.  Well, I doubt that wondering how many state ballots were as bias as Virginia.

It wasn't bias on behalf of the state.  What happened was the other candidates failed to meet the requirements to have themselves put upon the ballot.  It was a foolish mistake on the candidates behalf and demonstrated a lack of proper organization in that regard.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.
