I absolutely believe men and woman can be friends.  Growing up I had many male friends.  I have seen my children who are now entering adolescence; remain friends with both boys and girls (so far) My husband has female friends and I think it's great.  There is a level of respect between men and woman whom are friends.  If that respect isn't there and either the man or the woman thinks that there friendship will move into something more than that's the wrong reason to remain friends.  My husband and I are partners and best friends.  It's just one more niche we have figured out that brings us closer.

Yes.  My best friend for 13 years was a male.

YEs it isa good tthing but be careful if there are temptations that would cause you to stray from your current relationships.

My very best life-long friend was male. He passed away two years ago and I miss him everyday.

Of course! There’s nothing odd or unusual about that. There is no set of rules to follow and these type of platonic friendships often happen.  :peace:

I think it is possible for a man and woman to just be friends, without one or both having romantic interest in the other person.

I've had alot of guy friends throughout my lifetime. I can do this. Some people can't and it also makes your spouse extremely jealous.

Of course!
I don't have a best friend who is a guy but I always felt more comfortable hanging out with my guy friends than my girl friends.

My best friends are women, I don't have any feelings for them and they don't have any feelings for me. I don't believe that true friends will ever become "a temptation" because if you don't have a sexual attraction to them from the beginning you probably never will.

I think it's more than possible. I know a lot of people who had guys/girls as friends. It's good have both genders as friends. At least I think it is.

Yes men and women can be friends but it's not always easy.

Absolutely.  I have had many friendships with the opposite sex while in a relationship.  I don't think it's at all unusual

I don't see any reason men and women cannot be friends as I do have a number of female friends. If referring to friends and leading into lovers then I would say that would be difficult (at least I have not had any luck). A friend of the opposite gender can be, however, a decent wing person.
