:P Have been in plenty of hurricanes after living in Florida for 58 years but never an earthquake.  Hurricane's are bad enough - don't think I could handle earthquakes.  Seems like there have been a lot of them in different places lately.  I hadn't seen on news anything recent about California.  WOW that is scary.  :sad1:

guys.... be safe all the time... earthquakes are just really scary.... stay away from trees or other stuff.... find a table that's quite hard and strong and hide under it... :(

i have not actually been in one, but in cities near where they are doing lots of drilling, there have been a few; here in Texas, where we never have earthquakes, EVER

the important thing is that everyone is safe. Sometime animals acting crazy is a sign that the earthquakes is coming soon.

Yes - I've been through lots of them.  Lived in California for 16 years and went through the 1989 quake - which was so damaging to San Francisco and the surrounding areas.  Also, the big one in Los Angeles a few years earlier.  Washington has had a number of pretty good size quakes in my years here as well.  I read the post of the mother who's worried about her child moving to California.  Really everywhere there is something.  I grew up in Florida where we had intense hurricanes and also the midwest where there were tornadoes.  There is something everywhere so you just stay prepared and deal with it when it happens.
