shirt tags

Do you have a story about tags on clothes?
Some people tear them off because they itch at the neck.
I think the best place for a tag is towards the bottom of the shirt sewn on the side seam.

I agree they need to be at the bottom. But there are some that are tagless with the size similar to iron on.I like those. The tags itch.

My son used to have a hole in just about every shirt where the tag should be because my father in law would tear them out (very roughly like he does everything) every time he would come over. Used to make me so mad!!

Put me down as a fan of tagless shirts.  Otherwise I have to go at the neck with a tiny pair of scissors and a seam ripper.  The tags are always made of starched taffeta or something like it; very uncomfortable.
