I've always wanted to see the northwest like Idaho and Oregon. Living in Florida there's no real scenery if you know what I mean.  :cat:

I live in Colorado and went to college in Oregon.
Colorado: anywhere in the mountains...trails, quaint shopping towns, etc. Estes Park is fun as is Georgetown.
Oregon: the coast (tons of lighthouses) and Tillamook Creamery then all the way up top to the town of Astoria.
Washington: go to Seattle briefly then grab a ferry over to the island in the Puget Sound or over to Vistoria Canada.
I could go on all day.....

I live in Central OR and these are all  great places to go to. If you like to ski or snowboard than MT Bachelor is great too. Also we have a lot of lakes in the cascades. My family and I hiked the south Sister a few years ago...it was a great experience as well!

There is so much too see in all of our country. I would like too see some of it back east, alas Ohio and wi. and points in between  are all i have seen in that partof the country. But there is nothing like the wide open spaces here where you can see for miles. It seems like you can just reach up and touch the stars at night. ( no smog).
Have also been to Alaska and other beatiful places. Co is oneof them. Climed pikes peak when i was a kid.

I would love to travel out west.  I have been as far as Dallas/Ft. Worth.  I have always want to go the the Grand Canyon.  And would love to go to every state west of the Mississippi River.  Maybe some day I will be able too.  I am 71 years old and in good health.  I have a full time job and have 3 weeks vacation every year.  If I had someone to go with me.  No fun by yourself.  My cousin and I go places together.  Maybe she would like to go with me.  May God bless each of you and keep you safe.

A road trip does sound like great fun.  I'm in Oregon in the beautiful Willamette Valley.  The Coast Range on one side and the Cascades on the other.  I'm thinking about a trip to San Antonio, Texas in September or October to visit a friend.  I would have to fly though.  Wouldn't want to drive it by myself.  I've never been in Texas so that would be great fun.

Idaho is beautiful (the northern part), but the winters are too long.  Summertime is beautiful in Idaho.

Florida is beautiful to me.  Some of the cities are gorgeous and the ocean has always been breathtaking for me.  Especially when it gets to the lower part of FL and it starts to turn that beautiful Caribbean blue green color.
