if you had a lot of money, what would you do?

I just saw a news clip about actors taking winners (200) out to a complimentary dinner.
I can think of a few things they could have done instead.
What would you do for your city, state, country or world?

Not really sure I would help city,state etc., but would probably help our local humane society, local food bank, and the senior centers in the area.

If I had alot of money I would concider helping soup kitchens or missions, some thing on that level---maybe even open my own.

That's the only way I would consider it, open my own. But I would require some kind of work to get in.

First off I would pay off my bills and save a bit for the future. Then I would do what I could to help local food banks and others in need. I would help poor people fix their homes and help with enviromental causes in our State. I would try and help the people in Haiti. There are so many needy causes in our town alone, like the lack of enough businesses for jobs and lack of help for seniors. I recently found out at our local apartment building for seniors, that many do not even have bed frames, their  mattress is on the floor. Many do not have a table with chairs, to sit at to eat a meal. That is so sad. If I had a lot of money I would not have it long.

If I had a lot of money, I would definitely use it wisely. I would try not to use the money on too many unnecessary materialistic things. I would also use some money to give out to my family and friends who are really in need for it. The rest of the money I would either save or invest. I like making investments because it is exciting to know that your money will accumulate to something even bigger over time.

I would help out a lot of organizations that helped me and my kids.  I would help out other people . I would travel around the world as well.

My kids are getting to the age that they will be needing cars and heading off to college.  Love to be able to travel some day!!

Help build up the community in my home town.  I feel we all should start at home before we expand to the other side of the earth.

Pay off my house, car, and student loan. See a specialist for my health problems. Hire a gourmet chef that cooks healthy food. Help my nephews with college costs, and lastly go on a vacation!
