My toolbar is maxing out after earning 4 cents not 5?

I always do the max searches to get that 5 extra cents a day.. but the past few days it has maxed out after I earn my 4th cent, not allowing me to get the 5th cent.

Anyone else notice this? Wonder if its just me for whatever reason, or if the max ammount has been lowered?

Mine used to max out etc or not work, I switched to Firefox and it seems to work a lot better than when I had Internet Explorer.. Good ? though!

Is everyone else still getting 5 cents or has the maximum changed from 5 to 4???

I only get one or two cents a day searching with the toolbar. I never try to get the max, whether it be four or five cents.  It might be that you are the Fusion Cash member who gets the most searches using the toolbar. That may be why other members have not responded.

You might try opening a support ticket or posting this discussion again under support. This seems to be a question for administrator to answer.

So far, I've received $0.40 for 200 searches; that works out to $0.05 for every 4 valid searches.

I had the search rewards freeze up on me in mid-Feb, then free up on March 1st when the counter returned to zero for me. Since then I've been receiving 5 cents for every 20 searches, although occasionally a search does not register but that is rare. I usually confine my searches to items in the news that I am interested in and that gives me enough variety for most of my searches to qualify.

Right now, my counter reads 480 searches for 115 cents, which breaks down to 5 cents a day for the last 23 consecutive days and that makes sense since this is April 23rd. 460 searches apparently counted toward my rewards, with 20 of the 480 considered invalid. My advice is to vary your searches and don't rush it. If one of your searches is considered to be invalid for some reason, be extra careful to make your next search count.

Its not uncommom for me to have 'extra' searches and not equal exactly 20 searches for each 5 cents, for example one day I might do 23 searches, thus having an extra 3 that dont count, ect. and it adds up.. When a search is invalid, it wont register at all.. like if you have 230 searches and do an invalid search, your counter wont go to 231, it will stay at 230. At least thats my experience.
 
The issue with mine is that it just stops after 16 searches / 4 cents and says the maximum has been earned.. It has nothing at all to do with any searches being invalid, it just wont let me continue to that 5th cent.. I can search 100 more times and still only have gotten 4 cents that day..
I havent tryed today but the last 3 or 4 days has maxed out after 16 searches for 4 cents saying 'Maximum rewards earned.

That kinda sucks. Have you tried logging in from a different browser? There's no reason that should be happening. Have you sent in a support ticket about it to make the FC staff aware that your being short-changed?

I thought you could only get .05 a day. But atleast your getting them. I always get that message "you did not perform a vaiid search".

well today it let me get the full 5 cents.. Hopefully it stays that way.. weird that the last 3 or 4 days it stoped me at 4 cents tho.

I have not tried the search question though if you switch to another internet search like firefox or modzilla will everything switch over I dont like IE thanks for your help

Well again today it only allowed me to earn 4 cents and not 5... so 3 or 4 days in a row it maxed me out at 4 cents, then allowed me the full 5 cents yesterday, but then returned to 4 cents today.. WEIRD

However I payed attention closely today and saw exactly what happened.. My first cent I earned, did not credit.. I watched the counter on the toolbar go up 1 cent, checked my account and did not get that 1 cent.. I checked a little later and still never got it. The next 4 cents I got no problems..
This is strange, i dont know if thats also what happened the other days, but am confused as to why the toolbar would tell me i earned a cent then not credit me, but then have no problems with the next 4 cents.
