DippityDoo
« on: April 22, 2012, 12:24:55 pm »
Does anyone remeber this hair gel? I remember being a little girl/young teen and my mom rolling my hair at night or braiding it wet and using it. Boy would it hold the curl. Have not seen it in years. Wonder if they even make it anymore?

It's just as easy to put such a topic in the Off Topic forum as it is to put it in Suggestions, where it doesn't belong.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Don't use the stuff, but you can get it at Amazon.com for 9.99 for 11.8 oz.  Bet it was a lot cheaper when your mom used it!

Lighten up Falcon9.   She gave you an opportunity to respond!

I would've have answered if it was made and then reminded them it is an off-topic subject too. It's been nice seeing that other people are playing "hall monitor" too being a lot of users don't read which category they are posting in

Why would pointing out that the "Support" forum isn't the "Off-Topic" make someone a "jerk", (unless that's merely your knee-jerk defensive reaction to the accurate observation)?  If you don't wish to read my posts, you can either stop posting things I may reply too, (which could be anything), use FC's "ignore" function so that you don't see the posts I'll make anyway or, cease posting topics in appropriate forums.  Choices, choices; you have at least three viable options there.

Lighten up Falcon9.   She gave you an opportunity to respond!

Actually, she went right for the ad hominem derrogatory reaction after my initial reply.  That's alright though, I've combined the replies in this post for your viewing displeasure.

While posting topics *bleep*-nilly, (apparently at random), in any old forum does jumble the forum content up, (and why have forum catagories at all if they are ignored at will?), such observations are on par with finding raw chicken in the canned soup aisle of the grocer in my view.  Sure, it's mildly annoying since, if I wanted raw chicken, I'd go over to the meat department and, if some on FC was looking for answers to a 'support' question, it might be mildly annoying to find haircare products being yammered about there instead.  Just saying ...

How did you combine quotes in the same response?

Perhaps in this instance, (although I've been wrong before, it wasn't in the "off-topic" or "D+D" forums).

How did you combine quotes in the same response?

Cut & pasting, (which doesn't always separate the quoted text).

I was a random mistake.

My condolences; too many children were unexpected surprises.

This forum isn't a "blog", it's the FC community discussion boards, (which are open to all FC members, unlike a private blog).

Which comments lead you to conclude that I was being an *** ?  Was it from this reply:

Or, this one:

'No doubt "dmahoney" is catching on by now, so I'll not belabor this much further.  Just wanted to add @ "dmahoney", if you need any assistance or have questions about posting, go ahead and start a new thread in the off topic forum and we'll be glad to offer help.'

Regardless of your inabilities, I'm satisfied that you placed future posts on 'ignore', (assuming that you've determined how to do that without assistance).
