I usually go to Hobby Lobby. I really only go for scrapbooking stuff, and Hobby Lobby is much closer to my house. I think they have better sales.

I've been to Michaels and it's ok, never Hobby Lobby. I use to do crafts years ago, but not anymore.

I have not been in a Hobby Lobby in a long time, I need to see if there is one near me.  I love all crafts stores.

There isn' t a hobby lobby near me so I would go to Micheal's but really I go to Walmart to get my yarn and cloth. If I need craft items like felt or a fancier yarn I'll go to Micheal's or A/C moore.

We don't have a Hobby Lobby or a Michaels in our small town but lately we've been going to the larger town about 35 miles from here and going to Hobby Lobby.  A lady at the shop where my daughter is getting her wedding dress said Hobby Lobby has better selection and prices are little cheaper.  We are making our daughters' flower arrangements for the tables at her reception and are going back this weekend as it will be their 50% off florals.  Thats quite a savings if you're making 20 or so arrangements, lol.

I am in Southern California and I have not heard of Hobby Lobby (maybe it is not in this area yet?) .  I like Michael's but love Joann'e,  out here they are the size of a very large supermarket.  You can find everything there year round for all the holidays, a giant fabric section, lessons and classes on different crafts, you name it they carry it.  Plus you can get coupons weekly from the paper or on-line.   They are also on line. They are fabulous!

We don't have a Hobby Lobby where I live, so by default it's Michael's.

Michaels!!!  I always get my craft needs from there.  It is just so organized and the workers are so helpful/friendly, nowhere else can compare.

I would have to vote for hobby lobby since they have a greater variety of merchandise for my hobby.

I am close to a Hobby Lobby, it is only 3 minutes from my home, so I make more trips there than to Michaels, but I do love Michaels too.

I like them both, but since we do not havve Michaels any where near us i go to Hobby Lobby and it is 80 miles away. We go once a month to Walmart for shopping and or drs. appt. That is the only drawback to living in a rural area is the shopping. So when we go we just make a day of it.also have to make a list or i can spend a lot of money on items on the off chance i might need it or alreay have it.
