I love May, maybe it's because I was born on May 25 and am a Gemini. Also, this May our daughter is embarking on a year-long adventure in the wilds of Wisconsin... ME, I like creature comforts...

We used to have a May pole at elementary school back in the '60s.  Wonder if anyone still does that on May Day.

We did too, back then.  I'm not sure if they still do that Maypole ritual ever since some religious fundies finally caught on that it stems from pagan fertitlity rites and became aghast.  They still do it in U.K. schools so, take that, anti-pagans!

* Turns out they still do the Maypole ritual at a Cinncinati charter school, (untouchable by fundies who have private fundie schools where they get to do unspeakable xtian rituals).

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.
